Yes, there are many things to get done in all phases. But, get better at each one at a time! If you are aiming for perfection, you will never get to launch your first project.
1. Pre-Launch
- Product research: Pick a product
- Suppliers contact: Pick a supplier and sign MOU
- Market research: Pick the right amount of MOQ of the market size
- Customer research: Pick the pain point and solution to present
- Copy writing: Use Game Design theory to write compelling crowdfunding project
- Create assets: Photograph, make videos, create creatives for marketing campaign
- Submit the project! you will get many kick-backs but hang in there!
- Landing page creation
- Marketing plan: emails, Facebook, Twitter, Line, Instagram, etc.
- Collect email and advertise with email marketing
- Press release collarboration
- Buy advertisement plan
- Tell you fans: yes keep it personal, crowdfunding is connecting people to people.
2. Launch
Here are phases inside
- Begin: Launch emails serie to achieve target
- Middle: Updates through the platform and start re-targeting campaign
- End: Launch emails serie to remind last discont change
3. Post-Launch
- Send a questionaire to up-sell and cross-sell
- Send a questionaire to initialize shipping
- Deposit production cost and start producing
- Pay the rest of production cost and finish producting
- Send backers’ address to forwarder and carrier
- Gather feedbackers after the product arrive
